RE: Ashton Brewer #75302052
Thanks for adding the birth year for Ashton/Aston Brewer. I had found it from military records also. Some of the descendants from the older Ashton/Aston have them listed as the same person. Hopefully they will see findagrave and rethink their decisions. LOL

Sincerely,
Dorothy Daskam Sargent

Aston Brewer #75302052
The Aston Brewer who fathered Levi Brewer b. 1837-1912 is not the Aston Brewer who served in the Civil War. This grave site is for Aston Brewer b. 1845, the son of Aston Brewer b.1800 d. Oct 1850 in Jackson County,IL. Aston b. 1845 and Levi b. 1837 are brothers and the sons of Aston Brewer b.1800. Aston Brewer was b. 1800 in Fayette County, Indiana and appears on the 1830 census of Fayette County, IN and on the 1840 census of Jackson County, IL. Perhaps you would consider correcting this error.
Thank you for all the hard work you have done. It certainly helps many others.

Sincerely,
Dorothy Daskam Sargent #47197822

RE: Margaret Milhouse
I went to the cemetery to photograph ONE marker. You know the old saying about "Betcha can't eat just one [Lays potato chip]".....? Well I can't just photograph one marker when I'm at a cemetery!

Glad the Millhouse photograph is meaningful to you!

Julia Ann Fox
Hi Nikousa - I noticed the obituary that you had added to Julia Ann Fox's memorial (Find A Grave Memorial# 116824519). Thank you for the neat newspaper clipping of her obit. I wanted to let you know that I appreciated the info. I copied it all to Julia's bio and gave credit to you for providing it.

Best wishes,
Paul Hoyt

RE: Saphronia Eveline Dillinger Rigdon
I think copyright is around 1922, so that one is fine in that regard, the problem is that Find A Grave does not officially allow newspaper clippings of obits to be posted as photos. So, you can go ahead and copy that 1908 obit and publish it, but this website doesn't officially allow you to post the newspaper clipping as a photo. Two different things, LOL! I think I gleaned most of the info/facts from it before you deleted it. If I missed anything major, please go ahead and send it to me. I see you have a lot of those newspaper clippings posted as photos on memorials. Like I said before in that email, I personally like them, but was just giving you the heads up that Find A Grave can and does delete them (the newspaper obituary clipping photos) with no warning, so you may want to type up the info in your bios before that happens and the info is lost.

J F Wiseman
Im searching for a man named Johan Fredrik Wiseman. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden March 11 1815. His father, with the same name, was most probably born in Halberstadt, Germany around 1773. The mother was Elisabet Krook, born march 10 17xx in Sweden. They were married June 15 1814 in Stockholm. The father died October 2 1816 in Stockholm. The mother then married another man who became the step-father to Johan Fredrik. They moved to Sundsvall, Sweden round 1825. Round 1855 - 1860 (not later) Johan Fredrik "left Sweden for North America without documents" as it is written in the church records. After this I have no more information about him. I suspect him as beeing the unknown father of my mothers father. Could the J F Wiseman mentioned hre be "my" J F Wiseman?

Colonel James Jackson Dollins
Hello! I'm doing some reserch on Colonel James Jackson Dollins buried in Veterans Memoral Cemetery in Benton, Il. He is my relative via marriage and has a very distinguished military history. You added a great photo of him! Are you the owner of the original? I would like to try and get a better copy of the one downloadable from Find-A-Grave if possible. In the interest of research I'm preparing an article that could appear in an academic journal or historical publication. If that's the case I would of course formally credit you for a better photo. Thanks much in advance for answering my question.
