Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am working with the Waverly Free Library doing genealogy searches. If anyone wants information about cemeteries in Waverly,Sayre,or Athens. Please feel free to e-mail me using (WFL Genealogy) in subject line.

I have come across old records of most of the cemeteries in Waverly, New York, of EPIPHANY Cemetery, TIOGA POINT Cemetery records in PA, and CHEMUNG Cemetery in Chemung, NY. I am going to try and get all of the names added to the cemeteries. If you have a name you want information on, ask and I will do my best to get the information added as soon as I can. Also I am using the spelling of names as they are in the book. Let me know if they need any corrections.

I have been digging around in genealogy since 1973. I started taking pictures of headstone for my records, and enjoyed finding and going to cemeteries to read other stones.

I am still looking for my RANDOLPH, ARMSTRONG, SMITH lines.

Have hit the wall on JOSEPH B. ARMSTRONG (1/19/1797 - 2/3/1873 b. in Vermont)of Tompkins Co., NY He was married 3 times, First was Ann Waldron (children JEHIEL) next a MARY ? (Children JAMES R., ASHAR, ISAAC.) last a MARY COOPER, (Children ROSETTA, MARY O. and MELISSA M.)

My SMITH line FREDERICK C. SMITH (1/19/1809 - 3/26/1859) I was told he was born in Ireland. He married PRISCILLA HOPKINS OR JOHNSON. Depending on who you talk to. They lived in LYCOMING Co., PA

My RANDOLPH line JAMES L. RANDOLPH (1/14/1801 in New Jersey - 11/27/1887 Bradford Co., PA) married HANNAH VANKIRK or VANBUSKIRK they has 11 children, 10 daughters and 1 son. Their oldest daughter Sarah was born in Northumberland Co., PA

If anyone has any information, I sure would love the help.

Also if you have any information on the pictures I have posted here PLEASE feel free to edit and add it.

RE: Factroyville Cemetery

Are you asking me to add the three individuals or the relationship? I could not find the people so I am assuming you want me to add the individuals. I just wanted to check before I did anything.

James Randolph - Hannah Van Buskirk
Hey! I noticed that you are researching your family lineage of James Randolph and Hannah Van Buskirk. They were my 4th great grandparents :) I am also researching this line. If I find anything of interest, I will certainly let you know.

Dear Candy,

Thank you for such a great job in taking the photos of the Keefe family in Epiphany Cemetery. We are in Texas and much appreciate your efforts.

Thank you for taking the photo of this baby's headstone in West Candor Cemetery.

I have been looking for this family for years lists two Searl (sp) babies there. I wonder if their father Charles was also buried there. Do you know if there are any records of these deaths? They were so long ago I am not sure where to look.

Thank you again, this means so much

Warren Johnson photo
Hi Candy,

Glad to see you're back at adding photos from Schoonover Cemetery ! Interesting to see that NY Gen Web is accurate in that Warren's stone does NOT give a date of death, makes you wonder if he is buried there . . .

Anyway, thanks again for posting the photo.

P.S. I caught the picture taking bug from you. The last few days I have been taking and posting photos and memorials for people buried in the Highland Cemetery in my current town of Newburyport. The cemetery is large but only about 60 memorials were in Find A Grave when I saw a photo request. The number is now up to 180 due to my work.

So thanks for getting me involved and possibly helping out others who are looking for their long lost relatives.

Johnson Photos - Schoonover Cem
Hi Candy,

I hope you realize how amazing it is to get such a quick response to my request for photos. You were able to get both parents and their 2 daughters - in one day !

I really do appreciate you taking the time out to do this, it's not easy to find these gravestones and although Tioga Center is not that far away from Newburyport (well, almost 300 miles) this is certainly something I wasn't sure I would get to do, what with my examines and procedures for prostate cancer and all.

Please let me know if I can help you out with photos in the southern New Hampshire and/or Northeast Massachusetts cemeteries.

Thanks again,
