Would you please remove the newspaper obituary from the memorial (Find A Grave # 134821067) I created.

It is clearly stated in my biography not to do this (Please do not post copies of obituaries or other newspaper articles in the photo's or flowers portion of the memorials I've created.)

Thanx, Mel

RE: Mary E. Downing Simpson
Hi Peggy,
I recall you contacting me last year about Mary Simpson, but I do not recall the nature of your request. Please see Find A Grave Memorial# 44638318 and let me know if there is anything else that you need.
Best Regards,

Hi Peggy,
I will look for James at the other Edinburgh cemetery this upcoming summer. Glad to hear that you are back on-line.

Hi Peggy,
I read your photo request for James Rhodes in Clarkville cemetery. We found his wife Mary, but there was no stone for James. Being that he died in 1912, a stone for him should have been easy to find if it was there. In the Bio for James, it was said that he died in Michigan, but was buried in Edinburgh, NY. Did you know that there is another cemetery in Edinburgh? If you want, I can look in the other cemetery for James if I get time.
Best Regards,
Edwin Sherwood

RE: Henry Warner Downing
The children I have listed of Agnes Patenaude are as follows

Francis Downing
Harvey Downing
Henry Downing
Plummer Downing
Victor Downing
Maurice Downing
Irene Downing

I got these names from a family book that I inherited from my Great Great Grandfathers Sister my Aunt Yvonne (Patenaude) Barrett who was the Niece of Agnes. She wrote down for the most part all of her cousins names.

Yes that is the one I am speaking of, I am related to his wife Agnes Patenaude, she is my Great Great Great Aunt, (Her brother Alfred Patenaude is my 3x Great Grandfather). I was wondering if you have any information on Agnes or her husband.

RE: Shaw Family
Dear Peggy,
The reason for your message was it was addressed to instead of my address

This is the message I was trying to convey to you:
Dear Peggy,
I found your contact looking for information on my relatives buried at the Highland Cemetery in South Weymouth. I plan to visit South Weymouth when coming to the Boston Marathon this month. I believe my grandmother Blanche Smith is buried by her mother Mary Harmon who was a daughter of Diantha Shaw, although both are not listed in the listed internments. The news paper death notices indicate this was their burial site, I assume in the Shaw family area. My father joked that when my daughter Elizabeth ran by the cemeteries around Boston she might hear the rattling of her relatives cheering her on.

I put the mother trail together for my daughter Elizabeth Smith this Christmas. I had a napkin ring with the Diantha name on it passed down from my father, Lester H. Smith, the only son of Blanche and her husband Stephen Harmon. I ordered similar napkin rings with the names of the secession of mothers from that ring identified on the mother trail.

I noted from the information of Nathanial Shaw a picture from an eching. I have the original etching plate and the same printing done by a famous etcher from that period , A.H. Richie.

Shaw Family
I tried your email address without success as a invalid address. I am looking for my great grandmother Mary Russell Shaw daughter of Nathanial and Diantha Shaw. She married Stephen Harmon of Boston and her daughter Blanche was my grandmother and was married to Hurlin Smith. Mary died 17July1914 and Blanche died April 1937. The newspaper clippings indicated they were buried at Highland Cemetery in South Weymouth, although I did not see them in the listings. I assumed they would be buried in the Shaw burial area.
