RE: Hazel Bircher
The information that I have is that she was married to my father's uncle, William Dickerson Bircher. Her parents were Leonard Augustus Cambpell and Mary Margaret Campbell (born Birchfield). William changed the spelling of his last name (at least on his head stone) to Birtcher. The name for all of their kids is also Birtcher but he was my dad's uncle so we know that the original spelling was without the "T". Their son's names are:
Raymond 1914-1991,
Floyd 1911-1995,
Fredric Edgar 1910-1955,
Guy 1918-1996.
Their daughters are:
Juanita Jessie Bircher 1923 - 1929 and
Beatrice Lucille Barley 1917 - 1987

The Forbes name came about because she was previously married to a man with the last name of Forbes but it was brief and he died at war so she remarried. I believe she had one, maybe two, children with Mr. Forbes but they died (I believe, of scarlet fever or something like that).

I hope this message helps you.
