I went to the cemetery last night on another request. I've never seen a cemetery so horribly unattended. Most of the grave stones are missing and some are so worn, they're illegible. I found no trace of the last name Holland there, however, the weeds were SO tall, I couldn't see much of anything..again, it was dark and I'm hoping that was a major factor. I plan to take a weedeater back down there on my day off and attempt to clean up the graves and find some stones..also some chalk in hopes I can pull up what's left of engravings on what stones I could find but couldn't read. Hopefully, I'll have your photo by the end of the week. I'm working on it..

Diana, I found some pictures that I had transferred from my camera that had been wiped out. I will go out there today and look. Im going to privately email you the old photos and show you what headstone is now missing.

Diana, I will go ahead and take a look. I did run a usgenweb feazel cemetery which does not list a Soloman there. I'm going to email you the genweb page so you can take a look. I hope I can help. Karen

I went out there yesterday and I mentioned to my daughter that I thought that a headstone was missing from outside the gate, one by a tree. There were two by trees the last time I was there...One was chipped off in the corner, one was a white one that you could hardly read. I noticed a hole in the ground yesterday. I was flipping through my camera with the old photos and sure enough there were two. The unfortunate news is in my haste I deleted out my whole camera card. I usually have two cameras so I will check my other card and see if it is there. I did not find Phillip. I will email you what the cemetery looks like. I don't know who is responsible for the upkeep of it. It is hidden behind trees on private property right off of Farmerville Hwy.

I've been to the family cemetery. It is not in good condition but I will see what I can find. The other requests for that particular cemetery were not able to be fulfilled. I believe headstones are missing, at least any but a few that were inside the fenced area. I should get out there tomorrow.
