RE: Willliam Adolphus Woodruff
Just looked at the 2 Pleasant Hill cemeteries in this county. I have photographed the Pleasant Hill UMC Cemetery in Horse Creek. I have not done the Pleasant Hill CP Cemetery on Kingsport Hwy which is the one closer to Jeroldstown. There is a lady on Find A Grave that is more familiar with this cemetery than I am. Her name on here is TNbreeze Find A Grave #47216938.

RE: Willliam Adolphus Woodruff
I am afraid I have not run across the grave of William A Woodruff. What I mostly do anymore is photograph entire cemeteries and I have concentrated on those around where I live, which is near Chuckey. A person who died in 1920 should have a readable marker if they have one. However I have also seen some newer markers that are barely readable as they were a poor quality stone. Be assured I enter all readable markers in the cemeteries I do and that in time perhaps William Woodruff will be found.

RE: Thank you!
I gather from your little notes that we are indeed cousins. Well, nice to "meet" you. I would love to know how we are related - Barlow? Payne?

Thank you!
I just saw that you added a photo of my grandfather's first wife, Carrie Bell Webster Barlow. I am thrilled as have never seen anything related to her! If you have ANY idea of where I might find a photo of HER please contact me. I would LOVE to find one of her with my grandfather. I feel a kinship since she and her little son were once a family with my grandfather before they passed away and he married my mother's mother. Thank you so very much!

Long family in Va.
Hi Sherry, I'm a Long, my family lived in Va.
back in the 1700's and John Long's name has
been in each and every generation in our line
of Long's. Do you have anymore info on the John
Long you have listed. I'm looking for a John N.
Long. Thanks Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes

Joseph Long
I noticed your memorial for Joseph Long this morning. I was very happy to see that you had located his burial location, as it had eluded me. We've now an unbroken line from Joseph to my grandfather, Wilbur Lambert Long. I'd love to hear of your branch of the family tree.
Sincerely, Harold G. Richards

Longs-Old Cemetery
Thank you for all your work with the Long Family. It was really helpful with my family research project. I want to ask if there happened to be a grave of an Eliza (Elizabeth Wilson Long 1791-1862)next to Joseph, or perhaps a grave next to him with a broken head stone that could have been hers?
Again, Thank you so much!!!
