We live 45 miles south of Buffalo, NY, in the tiny rural community of Riceville. I treat my animal clients with homeopathics, herbs, holistic remedies and Reiki. In our spare time, my husband and I love exploring cemeteries. It helps to fulfill our passion for genealogy. Currently, I am photographing St. John the Baptist RC Cemetery in West Valley. As of April 2013, I continue to struggle with complications following surgery last July. Thanks for your prayers and patience. | |

 | Alonzo F. Hadley I'm guessing you live in the Alonzo F. Hadley farmhouse? My relative, Frederick Long, appears in that house in the 1880 census and I've often wondered what the connection was that brought Frederick from East Aurora down to that area, although I suspect it was due to him being a Presbyterian minister in that area. Frederick was recently widowed and I never have found where his wife was buried --I did look around Riceville Cemetery and noticed the Hadley graves. I live in East Aurora and would love to see the house sometime. Best of luck in your recovery. | | | BK

 | Jackson Fetzer You also asked for marker photo for his wife Mary; I do not see anything like that in the area of Jackson's grave. Based on the position of his headstone-footstone, it looks like there is room for his wife. Is she buried there? Unknown. The Centre County Genealogical Society has catalogued this cemetery and is my source of info: there is a page for Advent that says this: "Stones located by Mrs. Spangler in 1927, missing in 2003" -- but Mary Fetzer is not listed here either, so I guess her location remains a mystery.
There is another Mary Fetzer listed in Advent, but it appears she is the wife of John Fetzer(1814-1890). I uploaded those photos earlier.Added by RJM_2012 on Oct 20, 2012 6:51 PM | | | RJM_2012

fulfilling request for Homer (and Rose) Fetzer - also found graves for Milford & Elizabeth Fetzer in the next row, and posted photos. Just letting you know. Rick

 | Elmlawn Cemetery Kenmore, NY Hi Lori. Does Elmlawn Cemetery run like Acacia Park? In other words, if I called them for locations, would they give them to me, or would I have to try a different way?Added by BK on Sep 06, 2012 12:20 PM | | | Rich Fedoush
