|Anonymous||Gerhard Bohnenkamp's Father|
Gerhard Bohnenkamp's father was Hanko (Hinrich or Heinrich) Bohnenkamp. He apparently used the English equivalent " Henry " when he came to US.
The following info is from the website http://www.auswanderer-oldenburg.de
Born: 29 Nov 1846 Stollhamm, Butjadingen Parish, Oldenburg Grand Duchy (now in the Wesermarsch District of the Niedersachsen or Lower Saxony Province in Germany.
His parents were Hanko Bohlen and Anna Elisabeth Bohlenkamp. In Oldenburg the children sometimes took the mother's name. This mostly ended by the 1600s or 1700s, but in rare cases happened in the early 1800s.
He emigrated to the US before 1871, but specific details are not provided.

If you want to transfer them to me to make the move that will be okay. If a relative ever wants them, I will be happy to transfer to them.

Thanks for moving the pictures. No, I'm not a relative. I'm just working on the cemeteries at Shiner.

I am related to some McCunes from the Athens, Ga. area. I see where you have added a flower to some of the memorial pages of my family.
Would you contact me if you would like to share info.

I spelled the name the way it is spelled on the headstone.If you clidk on the headstone the picture will get bigger and it is easier to see.
I thought it should be Baur also.

You're very welcome. I debated uploading a photo to that particular memorial because you hadn't. Several weeks ago I was asked to delete a memorial of a spouse, which I promptly did.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Sorry it took so long. There was no plot info listed on the request or in the request notes, so it took me until yesterday to realize you'd e-mailed me the map in January with the plot on it. Sorry for the delay!
