RE: Beecher Alexander Howard #126083741 Photo
Bonnie,

You'll notice the large bush behind the Howard stone. It is currently surrounded by wild (thorny) roses! AND there is one large stone in the middle of that bush that I can see. (It isn't Beecher, however...another name) I'm addressing this issue (as many as other issues similar in regard to the condition of this cemetery) and if I'm granted permission to trim that tree or get into it after the roses have died, I will take a closer look for possible footstones. If I find anything, I'll post it!

RE: Re: Marcia Ann Bowan Rappert #94385926
My family records indicate that Phillis Illene Wright (my aunt) was just 6 mos of age at the time of her death. If I a incorrect in my assumption that this burial is indeed my aunt, I will immediately retract so as not to mislead that others researching their family members.

West Union Cemetery
Researching my ancestry for Daughters of the American Revolution.
I am coming to Iowa this week and would like to try and find the gravesite of Alen "Allen" Dunning, Find A Grave #38681069. Block 3 lot 40 in the West Union Cemetery.
Also would like to know where I might find copies of the "Fayette County Pioneer" newspapers from 1861.
Thanks
Marge Martin
