More Information
Hi Gary,
I am working on family records and found that I have more dates on the following:

Warren Keys #67181627 - birth date 10 May 1829
in Henrietta, Monroe, New York
Mary Jane Sears #67181626 - birth date 15 Mar 1829 Butler, Wayne, New York
Mary Adelaide Keyes #67181622 birth date
30 May 1856 Henrietta, Monroe, New York

I have sourced these dates so I know they are correct. If you don't want to make the changes you can transfer them to me and I will be glad to do it since they are distant relatives.

Also they need to be linked as a family.
Warren, his wife Mary Jane & daughter Mary Adelaide.

RE: The middle initials...
Post script:

I know you are asking why am I working on this cemetery.

Last month, I found a duplicated cemetery made in 2013. The two Maplewoods were merged and now I am working to removed the 2013 duplicated memorials. There are enough of them to use the de-duper instead of sending the SAC about each 2013 duplicate and waiting and waiting.

RE: The middle initials...
I sorta figured it was a spreadsheet thingy and glad you have corrected! :)

I am going to request Edit to run the de-dupper through Maplewood in about a month or so and after that the duplicated memorial problem will resolved mostly.

Of course, the two memorials have to have the same name and dates for the computer program to catch the duplicate...that includes the period after the middle initial and the initial in the middle blank! Working on this slowly but half way thru the cemetery. The program merges the high memorial number into the lower.

Thanks for all the hard work you have done with this cemetery.

The middle initials...
First, I want to thank you for all the work you have done on this cemetery. It is so much appreciated by so many researchers.

I want to make you aware of a recurring incident.

I have noticed that many of your memorials submitted in the Maplewood Cemetery has the middle initial in the same blank as the first name.

This causes a problem when searching as the name doesn't fall in the index where it needs to be located. For example: Jane P. Doe doesn't fall Jane with the initial "P" but down a several names below under the first name of "Jane P".

Of course, this member who is doing the searching first name "Jane" doesn't see the name "Jane P." and makes another memorial thinking Jane P. Doe doesn't have a memorial.

As you know there is only one memorial per grave and eventually all duplicated memorials will be deleted or merged with the original one.

I hope I have explained this clearly.

Would you "pretty please" try to put the middle initial in the middle name blank on the next memorials you make? That would be a great help for those who are using the search machine for the name index. Thank you so very much. :)

George thank you so much for these pictures. That is the fastest I have ever had a request filled; same day and it's cold outside! You are very nice to this; thanks again.
