Bio and Links
Bio Photo My grandmother got me interested in genealogy some 30 years ago and I have been working on my family tree and my husband's since that time.

When I retire from the University of Illinois on 1/4/16 I will be opening my own Genealogy Research business.

I enter memorials either from cemetery records or from pictures I have taken. I try to do a little research on each memorial I make.

I am always willing to transfer non-ancestor memorials I manage to family members of said memorials so if you find a memorial I manage that is one of your ancestor please don't hesitate to contact me via the Edit tab. Remember to include your contributor number!

Thank you so very much for taking these photographs for me. Because I live in the South I am not able to do this myself and really appreciate the time and effort you spent to do this.

Thank you for posting the picture of this tombstone to the Illinois Ancestors Tombstone project. I was able to confirm that this is the son of Charles Isaac and Lillie McCannon Hutchison. The obituary/death notice in the Champaign paper named his family but only referred to him as the "7 month old child" of theirs.

You are correct. I noted that a while back, but forgot to delete the Yearley Cemetery entry. The Honor Roll from 1956 had his burial listed in the wrong cemetery. Thank you. I have asked the owner of the correct memorial to add his bio, which I sent them.

Lizzie Thompson
The Forest Hill sexton records indicate Lizzie's name to be Thompson, Lizzie "Elizabeth" Virginia (Moagels), wife of Wesley, b. 1854 ?
Thought this might help you with your family tree. Barb

Alice, wife of A.G. Lewis, is Albert Gallitin Lewis who died in the same town and his brothers and sisters are buried at the same cemetery. I wonder if he is buried with her, he died May 25, 1902, and the monument may have his name on the back, opposite her name. Would you know how might I find out?
