I have a passion for remembering and documenting those who came before me. For without their sacrifices, I, nor my children, would be here.

As for any photos that I've attached, please feel free to save them as you will. The reason I've posted them is for the other family members of those individuals to have copies. This is a free public website, after all.

I live near Richmond, Virginia, so if I can be of assistance to anyone, please let me know and I will try my best to help you in your "hunt".

God bless and happy hunting!

Merciers in Lowell
Hello Autumn. I saw your photo request. Are they family? I can do a bit of research on them for you, pull some obituaries, etc., if that would be helpful. I live in Lowell.

You already had your great grandparents as you created their memorials! Ha! I transferred your grandparents over for your safe keeping! :) Have a blessed day!

I can transfer you Hermie and Terry because those are the two (2) I created but the other two someone else has. You'll have to reach out to them to have them transferred over.

You are so very welcome. That really makes it hard some times. We miss our family so much when they're gone. It's an honor and a pleasure to be able to help.

Hi Autumn,

I sent you two edits with the burial location for Collins and Rebecca Ashley. It may help someone looking to fulfill your photo requests.

RE: Jane Webb
Hi Autumn..

I have very little information on Jane, the only thing the cemetery survey record states is that she is believed to be the wife of Benjamin Webb based upon the 1870 census. Jane is buried by herself in row 8. Sarah Arkwright Hershey is buried with her husband Joseph & children Sarah A. & John Riley in row 11, while Joseph Arkwright is buried with his wife, Mary Ann Hills, (dau of Miner Joseph & Sarah Seeley Hills)in row 5.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.. and if you would like me to transfer these memorials to you just let me know and I wll glady do so.

Barb Shaffer
Hi, my name is Barbara (Sligh) Shaffer. Noticed the surname Shomo and was wondering if there is a connection to my grandmother Bessie (I think Sellars) Shomo who married Robert Tyree in Amherst Co, VA. She was my mothers stepmother(her bio mom died when she was abt age 2 so Bessie raised her. I think Grmas Bessie was from Low Mor Va and she had bros Luther, sister Minnie and Maude. I have her ancestry somewhere in my mountains of info but I think what I just typed for her is correct.

would appreciate any info,

RE: Ashley burials
Hi Autumn,

Thanks for the information about the Crapos. John Arsenault and I both visited the East Wells Cemetery about the same time, so some of the memorials were created by him and some by me.

I know that in 1860, the Ashleys had moved to Freetown, MA, and I haven't traced them beyond that. Do you know where Sarah was buried, so that she can be linked with her parents?
