 | McAninch Hello, Rosalie!! Some of my Wesley relatives who originated from Casey/Pulaski Counties in Kentucky married McAninchs and I was quite busy trying to link that family together on Findagrave. Whenever I find McAninchs, such as the ones at Oak Hill cemetery, I create their memorials even tho' there's no connection to my family...I'm glad I could help you! REGARDS, RICHARD | | | SLeamon
 | RE: Switzer I had been out there several times last year and had similar reponses about someone not being interred there. However, one of the ladies there finally explained something to me. I may not ermember the details correctly, but this is the general idea. Many years ago the cemetery was purchased by new owners. They have records from the original owners and records from the current owners. They are arranged differently. I beleive they mostly check the new records. They can check the original records, but they are not arranged alphabetically. They would need much more info in order to search the original records. Otherwise they would need to go through thousand(s) of records to find the one you are looking for. So it is very probable the person you are searching for is there, but the records are very difficult to find. I think they said the original records are arranged by location in the cemetery....or perhaps when they were buried.
Hope this helps....or at least clarifies it for you. If you have more info, perhaps they can look it up by that other info, like by a burial date.Added by SLeamon on May 08, 2013 9:16 PM | | | Duane Warren

 | Switzer You have requested a photo from Evergreen Cemetery. If you contact the cemetery for the grave location I will look for the headstone in the next 2 weeks. The people at the cemetery are really nice. I have the maps of the cemetery so this could be easy. Their number is 708-422-9051.Added by SLeamon on Apr 21, 2013 1:10 PM | | | Bonnie Parks
 | McAninch I am related to the McAninch family thru my grandmother so I am not willing to transfer but I would be more than happy to make changes!
I'd love to hear more about the McAninch family.

 | likewise! Frances "Fanny" Shaffer Quiett - I changed the dod as it didn't seem right to have that event happen before the birth of her last child! So, thank you too. | | | | [View all messages...] |
