Thanks so much for claiming this photo request. He was my granduncle, and I'm his namesake. If there happen to be any related graves, I'd really appreciate photos and information on them too.

I have added an obit for this person. Are you related? Do you wish me to transfer?
I notice your photos. I believe one of them might be a duplicate?
Happy Searching,

RE: Henry Floyd Davis
The information that Deb put on Henry's memorial came from his death certificate. She put Winge as a surname because the death certificate is typed and the typewriter filled in all of the "e"s. I did some research for you and found the 1860 census where Permelia is listed with the Wiley Wingo family: Wiley, Nancy, Theron, and Elizabeth. They were living in Dallas County, Missouri and she was listed as Permelia Holbert. She married James F. Davis March 29, 1868 in Dallas County, Missouri. Missouri Death Certificates 1910-1960 are online through the Missouri Secretary Of State website and are free. A picture of the marriage license is on the Missouri Marriages database on several websites. I also looked in the Benton County History books and found a picture of Henry and Minnie. If you are interested in Benton County, the CD to this 3 volume set is sold through the Genealogical Society.

I hope this information helps, I just added the tombstone picture.

Trip to Missouri
Mary, It was so much fun meeting you on your trip to Missouri. I was happy to help you in your research. I know you returned to Oregon last night. If you find you failed to get something, let me know and maybe I can help again. Enjoy the cool!

RE: Memorial #65113921, McKeehan
I am sorry to say I am not related to this family. I received most of the information from the death certificates. If you are related and would like to have transfers, please let me know.
Take care!

RE: Pleasure to help
Thanks for the inscription
In fine letters, directly about "LEMERY", it states, "Erected by their children"

I just now wish I could find their children. Guess I will have to resort to the phone book. How is that for doing it the old fashioned way?

Have fun with Find A Grave. It will be addictive. hehe
