Hello April,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring Susan E. Brassfield Hudson to my care. I have successfully connected her with her parents, 14 siblings and 9 children. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

Hansel Ulysses Buchanan & Dora Esther Blankenship Buchanan
Would you please list another child for Hansel and Dora in their memorials? His name is Twyman Buchanan (1924-1997, buried in Orlando, Florida). He does not have a memorial in Find A Grave that I have found yet. Thank you. Deborah

Hi April,

It seems that the information goes to another memorial which is his father. So I copied the information and forwarded it to the one who created the memorial.

Sorry the first message went through early.

Would you please add the following Obit for Mr Hopkin....thanking u in advance...Wayne

HOPKINS, H. W.
H. W. Hopkins died Tuesday night, February 18, 1902, at his resident near Rollingburg, Ky. He was 60 years of age and died of age's infirmities.
The deceased was a member of Twyman Post, G.A.R., of Greensburg, having enlisted in September 1861, and served faithfully and gallantly until January 12, 1865, when he was mustered out. Soon after the war he married Miss Nannie Hudson, who with two daughters and one son survives him. He was a gallant soldier, a good citizen, a kind neighbor and a friend, a loving husband and father and consciences member of the Presbyterian Church at Ebenezer. All those will miss him and they have the hearty sympathy of all. The remains were escorted to Bethlehem cemetery by his old comrades and laid to rest with solemn and impressive G. A. R. ceremonies there to remain until the great resurrection reveille shall call the sleeping heroes to join that greatest and grandest army—the chosen of the Lord.

(Sgt. H. W. Hopkins was born December 21, 1836 and died February 18, 1902. He was a member of Co. G. 13 KY Inf. He was buried in the Old Hudson Cemetery at Bethlehem.)
