|Jeremy Martin||Firefighter Report|
My name is Jeremy Martin. I am a volunteer firefighter in Normandy, TN. Right now I am attending the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy near Shelbyville. One of our assignments is to pick a firefighter from the TN Fallen Firefighters Memorial and write a report to honor that fallen firefighter. If you are OK with this I would like to do my report on Christopher J. Wolkotte(I believe this is our brother?)My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. If your interested, I would love to get some more details on the incident and contact information for some people He worked with in the fire department.
|Catherine Cramer||Your brother and dad|
I don't know you but I do a lot of work on Findagrave and try to take the time to pull up bios on the folks whose memorial photos show up. I was saddened to see such young men from the same family, all lost so closely together. My heart aches for you and your losses. Know that they are together on their journey, enjoying each others company and watching over you and your family as you walk through your grief. I lost my mother last year after a year long battle with lung and pancreatic cancer, it is so hard some days to think I can't just pick up the phone to share my day with her. I'm getting married for the first time in Sept (at 51!) and she met him once just a month before she died, we were just good friends at the time but started dating soon after. She was so happy for me. I know she is thrilled for me now, but its hard not to have her for the happiest time. My love and hugs to you dear Eric. I will think of your father, brother and uncle when I send my prayers up to mom.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dad so close to the loss of your brother. I just came across his site, and didn't know that he had died. He left so many nice messages on my dad's grave. I know he is missed, he made a lot of friends here on Find a grave.

Please accept my condolences in your loss. It turns out your father and I had a bit in common. I used to fish in a cemetery in Elmhurst where family of your is buried and I too am retired navy. Your father and I would swap tales of our navy times.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I just recently learned of his death. He was such an inspiration to F.A.G. members.
