Willam George Hile

I added a memorial of the wife of your great uncle, William George Hile (Memorial# 90835307). I noticed that you added a photo of his grave and the headstone has both of their names on it. I wanted to ask you if I could, with your permission, add the photo you uploaded to to the memorial of George Hile's wife, Clara Anna Brown-Hile. Or if you prefer, you could add the photo to her memorial# 119695967.

Thank you,

Hanson Meyer

Yes, I believe meet at Old Pigeon last summer. Not sure if the photos were made before or after we met. I took a lot of photos while visiting IN this past summer. Glad you are pleased with the photos. Hopefully, I will be back there sometime this summer to do more research.

There was only one letter and the transcription can be found at his grave site. It can be found at the Spencer County, Indiana archives. Somewhere in all my files I have a copy, but as of yet I am unable to put my fingers on it. Which child of William S Lamar do you descend?

I know what you mean about the time and listing. It does take a lot of time to sit and do that. Perhaps that sounds like a project to hold off on until winter comes along and it's to cold to go out and do anything else. Good luck on the search.

Hi Judy. My in-laws live in that area and while visiting I went to that cemetery and photographed. Wish I could have made a connection for you though.
