I've been interested in genealogy for many years and was delighted to discover Find A Grave. |
I have sponsored family members here on the site, and have also uploaded photos of family member grave stones. If you use one of my photos, please give me credit for taking the photo (photo courtesy of and copyrighted by David Pierce) as well as listing the find a grave website and the find a grave number of the memorial.
Also, if you use one of my biographies, please also give me credit as the author. Thank you.

Iam sorry. My husband corrected me. The distance was more like 30 miles from Carlisle to Chambersburg. Linda

Robert Chambers is my husbands 5th grandfather through Joseph. Who did you come through? Right now we are in the area of PA looking around. Your write up on Robert was very nice. So nice to have records from that time frame (Rebecca's). Is it possible that Robert could have died in Chambersburg on some trip even though he lived in Carlisle? If he died in Carlisle, would they have transported him all that distance (10 miles) to Chambersburg to bury him? Linda

FYI - in the course of photo documenting Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery I have taken a photo of Joseph Lindahl's grave stone and have posted it to his memorial. If you do not want it there, for any reason, let me know and I will delete. Also note the discrepancy in birth year...

P.S. As you can tell I did not proof read my spelling.
