In 1974 as a family, we started doing research on "Daddy's" side (all Cowles in USA are related - easy). Yes, I'm a Yankee, and all my family is up North, and I'm here in southwest Virginia. So, I'm trying to help the folks who aren't here, or who can't go to where their love ones are buried. I'VE MOVED BACK TO INDIANA AND AM LIVING IN STARKE COUNTY INDIANA (as of January 2013).|
If anyone wants a memorial transferred to them, please let me know. You don't have to "prove it" like I see some people want you to do. Just let me know, and it'll be in your care!
I just saw a "blanket" permission by another graver to use his photos. Good idea...you may use any I took and/or entered if you'll give the credit line "provided by" as I do. Please double check before entering the name of the provider as I have permission to use some photos that others have taken or provided. Thanks.
I HAVE REMOVED MY E-ADDRESS FROM THIS SITE BECAUSE I'VE BEEN HACKED - SORRY! But I'm still active, alive and well. Please just post a message, and I will get it done.

I only just saw your note regarding family photos at Mount Pleasant Cemetery and have no problem removing these.
However you are incorrect in accusing me of 'illegally' using photos. While searching some of my own headstones I noticed similar last names and this is how I came across yours. I thought you'd be pleased to have them so added to your memorials. However, this WAS WITH PERMISSION and if you look at any photograph I did add you will see the citation and note recognising the photographer and crediting Gen Web. I have written confirmation from them that it is OK to use a photo provided it is not altered, the photographer name is given and a link to site is included. I made sure of this before adding anything to any memorial. I have also added photos to this site that I have taken myself and highly appreciate the effort that goes into this.
Please pull up your photos on the memorials you mention and you will see the notation added to them. This should not be removed.
Again, my intention was to help not hurt so please let me know if you would like the few photos I added removed and I will be very happy to accommodate you.

I'm unable to confirm your suggested middle name, can you supply documentation or point me towards your source.
I have taken the picture of Wilbert's and Anna's grave on Sunday.
. I will convert camera pictures to disc,so I can print it for you.
Ione Anderson, I did not see her grave. A lot of graves have been beat up by vandlism. The neighbor watched me kind of closely to check. Really can not blame him.

I don't know where Margaret is buried. We couldn't find a headstone for Margaret in the Baljennie cemetery, so either she is unmarked or buried elsewhere. Maybe in another local cemetery or perhaps in Port Alberni, B.C. where her daughter went? My largest source of knowledge for the Lachman family is from Baljennie Reaches Far (a local history available on Our Roots Nos Racines website) p.37 article entitled "Abe and Margaret Lachman submitted by Lucille Surry." An obituary would likely give the place of burial; the likeliest newspaper would be the North Battleford News Optimist.

You are welcome Margaret. I don't like those time stamps either. The photos look much nicer without it.

Addl pics have been posted for the Caruanas'.
Holy Hope Cemetery isn't very picturesque--neither the grounds or the mausoleum. Even tho the sun is shining, it is difficult to get half decent pics as either too much shadow or too much light!

It turns out that Enoch Massecar is not on lot 268 as listed in the
book. He is beside his daughter Edith, who is beside her mother on
AD II-23. I posted his stone photo to his memorial and photos of the
stone of Edith to hers as well as the perspective photos
