RE: Genevieve A. VanSant
Sorry I didn't get back to you in a more timely manner. I have had many too many things and problems to deal with over the past few years and until recently I have not gotten back into the family history until just recently. You asked why is the owner of Rosalee Kuser Baker's cemetery plot Genevieve A. Vansant.

Genevieve Vansant is my grandmother and she continued my grandfathers Funeral business after he died in 1944. He was told that he had purchased a number of cemetery plots in various cemeteries in Philadelphia for resale to families when a member of the family died. My grandmother continued the business until sometime in the 1970s I think; I am not sure how long, and my guess is that she handled the funeral of your Rosalee and provided the plot where she is buried. I do not have her records and I do not know where they might be as she passed away a number of years ago and I have lived in California since 1967. My guess is that she just provided the cemetery plot as she still had quite a few and I cannot tell you whether the family had paid her for the plot or not. No one continued the business when she retired. I know in the later years my grandmother was up in years as she was born in 1903 and she lived to be 3 months short of 100. That is the best answer that I can provide to your question.
