I grew up in the Houston Heights and have enjoyed exploring cemeteries since I was a teen. I find them peaceful and like reading the tombstones. After writing two mystery novels I moved to the one place in Texas that I had loved since childhood, The Texas Hill Country. My job with the State Parks has now taken me to East Texas. Now that I am here I have begun my third book of the series. I started working on my Master's Degree this year and plan on teaching Criminal Justice once I have completed my studies. I started submitting photographs on find a grave when I discovered that there was a need. Now I head out at least once a week with my two Boston Terriers to help someone add another branch to their family tree. I feel that the two Boston Terriers enjoy the outing as much as I do. I have to cut them out of most pictures before submitting. | |

 | RE: Frances Stalmach You're so welcome. Have you seen all the new records now available at familysearch.org? Her death certificate is there and the 1940 census with her husband and children. I don't know how long they've had the Texas death certificates, but I just discovered it about 6 months ago. What a great resource!Added by JS on Mar 15, 2013 10:10 PM | | | John Christeson

 | James Rodd After having seen you note again on details of where he might be buried. I will check with the cemetery again. They may have just assumed that he was buried with the other two. I will know for sure by this coming Saturday. | | |
