I have been helped by some wonderful Find A Grave contributors. I hope I can return the favor to others out there looking to find information on their family's history.

Daniel Rantz
Greetings, I noticed your posting to LindiShu concerning Daniel Rantz, are you related to Daniel through his first wife (Elizabeth Kitchen) or his second wife (Mary Kipp)? Daniel is also my Great-Great Grandfather with his first wife. I do not have any photos of Daniel and I was hoping that you might have a photo of Daniel that you can share. Thank you.

Hey there
I requested 2 contributors to link Drucilla and her children... Unfortunately Alburtus's memorial contributor passed away - not sure how edits are done..
Keep an eye on the other two. Hugs

Hi there,
This is great info - unfortunately I cannot connect them (only Mother Father and Spouse). I will drop a note to the contributor's to these folks - and hopefully they will connect...

The last paragraph tells where he is.. AOUW...He is in the AOUW section of the Pullman Cemetery.. The cemetery records show the deed is in Victor's name.

He does not fall into the findagrave guidelines for burial unknown.

Please keep in mind that cemetery records are hit and miss. He could be at Pullman, I am going to call the funeral home tomorrow and ask them if they have a record of where he is buried. 9 out of 10 times in this situation, they are in Pullman Cemetery.

I have worked with the actual cemetery records from several cemeteries in the county, and they are not at all complete.. they have people that they have no record of, but yet they will have a tombstone.

The Colfax and Palouse records were destroyed in a fire, the Farr Cemetery in Pullman, they pulled all of the tombstone many many years ago and put them in storage, now they have no idea what happened to them... nor who is buried there..or not...

There is no WA death cert for Victor. Which makes me believe he did not die in WA. I found him in a tree on ancestry that shows he died before 1910.
