I live in Walker Co., Al. My ancestors were pioneers of this community when they came here in the 1800's. They helped to build this community. My gggrandmother, Jane Wilson Lovell Felkins, gave the one (1) acre of land for the Union Chapel Church and Cemetery. My husband and I spend time in repairing broken monuments and keeping a roster of the deceased people buried in the Union Chapel Cemetery. I spend a lot of time at the Cemetery looking. The Union Chapel Cemetery is on the Alabama Historical Cemetery Register due to the the efforts that I put into it. The oldest grave is dated 1881.|
There are more than 200 veterans buried in the cemetery.

Hey June, I'm Matha's daughter and remember hearing that you had info on the family genealogy. I also remember seeing you at the Decorations at my grandparent's house. Would love to talk and share info that you have. Thanks

Thank you for the information left on Martha E. Lawhon's site.
Robert Wayne Lawhon was my exhusband and the father of my three daughters.
I am trying to make family trees for the grandchildren while I can remember.

I made the changes you suggested (forgot though to take out the Mrs) & transferred her to you for management. I am not related in any way and she belongs with someone who knows her. Enjoy!

We have Sandy James Kelley, b: 2 Aug 1930 in Walker, Alabama and d: 23 Oct 1998 in Sipsey, Walker, Alabama. He was a minister and pastor at Argo Freewill Baptist Church for about 20 years according to his obit. His father is Mordecai R. Kelley, a brother to Frank H. Kelley. Frank was my great-grandfather. There are other ministers in the family, but this one seemed most in sync with your description.
