Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Clear Lake Shores, TX, a small island by Galveston Bay. I've greatly enjoyed fulfilling grave requests, as well as doing some of the historical research on our local area.

Important information:
If you're creating a memorial in Galveston, be aware there is no New City Pottersfield Cemetery, New Potters Field, or any other variant in Galveston. Indigent burials were at Oleander until the 1910s and death certificates often said "Potters field" or some variation. Poor and indigent burials after that time were at Municipal Cemetery at 59 1/2 and Ave T (ref Galveston Daily News article regarding Rosewood Cemetery) and was variously referred to on death certificates as "Potter's Field", "New Potter's Field", and "New City Potter's Field".

Potter's Field is a Biblical term referring to a burial place for the poor and indigent. (Acts 1:19; Matthew 27:7)

You're right, I deleted it. I've not been well for some time now and haven't gone into any of these memorials for quite a while. Believe me, I've made my share of goofs trying to get so many posts completed these past 5 years.

Looking at the stone it clearly says "wife of" and the age is 6? years not just 6 years old. The married name does look to be Anter or very similar.

New Pottersfield Cemetery
Thank you for your information.
I have a relative buried there. You stated
that it could be Municpal Cemetery.
I have not found his grave. His name was
Edward A. Moss d. 10-3-1926 in Galveston.
Do you think that all the graves have been
recorded on find a grave? He was the
grandson of Anson Taylor and he had three
uncles that died in the Alamo. I have been
trying to locate his grave for a long time.
Any information you could give me I would
