Bio and Links
Bio Photo My mother has been researching our family history for many years now.
I started taking pictures of headstones a few years ago for the family tree.
When I found findagrave, I couldn't believe who I was able to find.

I finally found my paternal grandfather, I never got to meet him, he died when I was four, I have no pictures of him, but I was able to get a picture of his headstone. I feel like I made a big discovery and it felt great!

So, I had decided that if I felt like this, that I know I could help other people find their family too, it makes me smile that taking a picture of a family member for someone else can make their day brighter.

If you are related to a person that I have created a memorial for (you are closer in relations than I or I am not related), I am more then happy to transfer them to you. It does not matter how you are related, just request a transfer.

THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE ON HERE THAT ARE RUDE ABOUT TRANSFERRING PEOPLE THAT THEY ARE NOT RELATED TOO!!!!
It does not make sense of why people have to be like that. I am on here for my family and to help others find theirs.

This is an email I received (6-15-2012) after requesting headstone pictures of my family members:

"Highland Park was completely photographed last year. Photo's are on Migenweb.com.
You need to get permission to copy these from Wayne Summers. wsummers4@gmail.com. There are 9 Cheney's there but Ralph Jr. isn't."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm sorry but it's RUDE for a volunteer to make you ASK FOR PERMISSION to use a family headstone picture for family use! I DO NOT EVER make anyone ask my permission if they could use a headstone picture.
RE: Lesher
I stand corrected. I did create the memorial. I will go in and add the link in. I had forgotten that I had added it when I took her husbands memorial picture.
I do not control the site. I think you need to go to the edit portion for Yvonne and request that they add do the link.
Hello,
If you could so kindly call Calvary Cemetery at (816) 523-2114 and get the location of the burial for me. There are too many requests for me to ask for all of them. You can email me back at cmcclasky@kc.rr.com and you will have your memorial picture within 2 weeks.
Thank you so much,
Carla MCClasky
Martha P. Wilbur
Hi Rebecca,
I added the burial area photos for Martha P. Wilbur.
I hope you don't mind, but I got curious and looked up a little bit of info for you on Ancestry.com.
I found Martha's death record in the CA. Death Index as:
Martha Perdew Wilbur, date of birth, 1 Sept. 1863 in Iowa. Mothers maiden name of Pope.
Date of death is May 3, 1944 in San Bernardino.
Also found John Ambrose Wilbur and Martha (as 'Mattie') in the 1900 census, Riverside, with their daughter, Belle, who was born in Dec. 1885.
Also found them in the 1910 census, but without Belle, and the same thing in the 1920 census.
The 1900 Riverside census also had John and Hannah Wilbur with kids on the same page, as well as Henry E. Wilbur with his wife and children's names on the same page too. Let me know if you do not have access to Ancestry and I can give you more info.
Also found Mattie Perdew in the 1880 census, San Bernardino, with her parents. Let me know if you want that info as well.
Sincerely,
Brigitte
Henry Everett Wilbur
Oh, one more thing, Henry Wilbur is buried in the same plot as John, Hannah, John (Died 1923), and Martha. Block E, Plot 41.
Wilbur at Evergreen
Hi there,
I fulfilled a photo request today for someone who was requesting a headstone photo for John Ambrose Wilbur, buried here at Evergreen Memorial in Riverside, CA. John Ambrose Wilbur, who died in 1923, is buried with his parents, John and Hannah, and he does not have a headstone. I thought you might be interested in learning that along with John Ambrose Wilbur, that plot also contains the remains of Martha P. Wilbur, who according to cemetery records, was interred here on May 5, 06, 1944, at the age of 80. She too, does not have a marker. I hope this helps in your research of the Wilbur family.
If you want to create her memorial and want me to add the burial area photo, please contact me using the 'suggest a correction' tab on any of my memorials. I regret I had to disable my messages due to a few bad apples.
Sincerely yours,
Brigitte Tucker-Ford
