warm hearted thank you
I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to photograph my fathers burial site. I live out of state and have never actually seen his grave site...this brought enourmous bittersweet pain to my heart...but I am grateful for you time!
Respectfully,
Diana L.

Thank you for the wonderful photo - I don't know if my Dad knew him, but he was in the same Seabee battalion on Guadalcanal and Okinawa. Thank you.

Dear Joneta,

Thank you very much for the beautiful photograph of Nicholas' grave.

I am so grateful for Find A Grave volunteers such as yourself who take the time out of their day to fulfill photo requests. It helps family members feel as if they have visited their loved ones' graves when they cannot physically visit the cemetery.

Thank you again and God bless you,

Fondly, Clair

Thank you so much for finding my aunt's and uncle's gravestone. My uncle was a prisoner of war during World War II and served proudly.

RE: Herr Family
Hi Joneta,

I'm not aware of any Herr's that I'm related to in the New Castle area. I couldn't seem to link any of the Herr's buried in Lawrence County to any of the descendants of Hans Herr at this time.

I am related to Updegraff's buried in the New Castle area.
