I live on the North Side of Chicago and one of my ongoing projects is photographing every family grave in the Chicago area. Initially, most of the memorials I added to this site were my own relatives and related families. Recently, I've branched out and now I am focused on the Kashubian families of early St. Josaphat's parish in Chicago.|
Regarding my photos:
Please DO NOT post any of my photos onto your Ancestry.com tree without first asking permission!! [I am an Ancestry member, user name tesseractme, and many of the photos posted here are already available on my public tree.]
I give permission for anyone to use my GRAVE PHOTOS ONLY on their personal website or blog with one condition: please do give credit. If you want to use portraits please ask permission first.
If I have added someone to whom you are related and I am not, I will happily transfer the memorial to you. If we are both related to the person, I would very much like to discuss the family and see whether we can learn more from one another.
PLEASE NOTE that I will sometimes be away from this site for several weeks at a time, but I will ALWAYS respond to messages, SAC's, transfer requests, etc. as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me on this site, but especially to the very friendly and helpful volunteers in Portage County, Wisconsin and in Franklin County, Arkansas!

|Marguerite||RE: Frank Kamin plot photo|
FYI: Sarah Derr #138678552 is buried in the same plot. I'm not sure if there is a connection or individual graves sold. I took a photo of her headstone. Txs for your message - Blessings.

Are you related to or know of the Tetzlaff family?
Were they Kashubian? Thank you.
|Jeff Fisher||Jacob Milosch|
At the website http://www.ptg.gda.pl/index.php/certificate/action/searchB/ there is a Baptism record for Jacob Milosch born 1853 in Swarzewo, Poland parents Michael and Marcianna Lewicka.

My apologies for taking so long to process. I never got notification from Find A Grave. I just happened to see them when I logged on. Thank you so much for the updates!

|Anonymous||RE: Franziska Klein Abraham|
The info came with the memorial, although there is a genealogy on familysearch that lists sources.
Sources listed by the person listed below.
Also, take a look at Frances' info there for more source info.
Hope this helps!
Would love to know if you find any connection.
Best of luck in your search.
Hi there! My name is Laura Westcott and Louise Wenzlaff is my 3x great grandmother. Im wondering if/how you are related to her and what extra information you might have about her, her husband August (my 3x great grandfather) or any of her children. I have three children documented, including my 2x great grandfather William (1849-1921)...but looks like you have far more siblings listed?
I'd love to connect!

Hi Mary - I just transferred my memorial for John Paluch to you. I noticed that he might be related to one of your family members (as I saw memorials you added for his brothers Joseph and Frank). Thought you might like to have John's as well : )

|Dave Laske||Lalowski Family|
I came across your references to the Lalowski Family of Anton and Marianna. I noted that you had Anton Frank and Agnes Bobrytzke listed as the children. There were more! Agnes was the sister of my grandfather Frank Michael Lalowski (1889-1962). There were more siblings. They were born in Gydnia (Poland), just north of Gdansk. I visited the town several years ago and went to the church where they attended (St. Michael Archangel Church, the oldest building in Gdynia and was the only church there when the family lived there). The priest could not trace the family during the 1860s-1900 or so because of a fire which destroyed them. Great-grandmother Marianna must have been very religious as the children were all named after local religious places and things. It would be nice to meet with you! I live near St. Adalbert's.
Dave Laske (son of Edward Anthony Lalowski/Laske)
|Bruce Weichmann||William L Klewer|
William L Klewer was Emil Klewer's brother. He
was born in 1857, and was married to Clara Marie
Weichmann. She was my Great Great Aunt. They are
buried in Eden's Cemetery in Schilling Park, IL.
Their children were George, Minnie,Arthur, William, Claudine, and Dorothy. William, Arthur,
and George were architects in Chicago. Dorothy
was a stage and film actress. George and Dorothy
are also buried in the Klewer family plot. As
well as my Great Great Grandparents Ferdinand and
Wilhelmina (nee: Kreutzer) Weichmann, and Bertha (nee: Weichmann) Rupert, Clara's sister. Any information you can pass along to me about the Klewer's would be greatly appreciated.
