Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has been a hobby in my retirement years that has involved many hours spent in libraries, courthouses, cemeteries and on-line web sites. What fun the time spent has been even though I've never graduated from being a novice.

My goal was to provide family members a historical record of our lineages and I think I succeeded in doing that to the best of my ability. Then I discovered and that created a whole new interest. There seems to be divided opinions as to how FAG should be used but I for one believe it is a great genealogical resource as well as a great way of remembering those that have gone before us.

Another of my passtimes relative to genealogy and now the FAG interest has been grave dousing. I don't pretend to know all there is to know about it but it is fun to do. It can be very revealing at times and the more I do the more I realize how many humans have passed on with their resting places unknown and/or unmarked. Kudos to Find A Grave.

Thanks very much for the recent photos of Cowan and Knisely markers at Englewood and Urich cemeteries. They are of your usual high quality photos, I appreciate the time you take to accomplish this.

Hi - and thanks so much for sending me the info. I try to keep records straight but sometimes an error sneaks through! I noticed that you are interested in grave dousing. I have been a douser for many years and have been doing a bit of grave work. It is fascinating and would enjoy hearing about some of the experiences you have had. I am busy moving over to Westcliffe, but when things quiet down a bit I plan to get back into my research in Custer county.
