Henry McPherson # 89673938
I sent you a request last April to add this info. He died when the car he was riding in hit the back of a truck in Illinois. He was the son of George and Nannie (Rosco) McPherson. He married Laura L Doty Nov. 6, 1898. Thanks.

Sorry Ricky, but when I try to delete the record, the following message comes up.
There was a problem deleting the record. You are not the original creator of this memorial so you can not delete it.
Thank you again Ricky

Ricky, Could you pleae delete the duplicate copy of the memorial # 75472733. It must be deleted by the one who created it.
Thank you again.

My deepest gratitude for the transfer of the Richard Faires memorial to me, you had created prior to mine. I included the inscription from you memorial onto mine.
If you have any relationship to Richard, I will be more than happy to include it.
Thank you very much

RE: Picture
You are very welcome! Thank you for the kind words. The sun was shining and I couldnt get the whole monument in the picture so that it was readable. I can go back and try to take a better picture if you like. If you make a memorial for Patty (or is one made?) I can upload the pic to her also.
It's funny because I have found more of my family members in places I would never have looked, just by trying to take photos for other folks. (And I get to exercise, which I need)

McPherson, Ossie George
I left you flowers and a note that there is no tombstone for Ossie in Alton (City) cemetery. There is another cemetery that is very commonly confused with Alton cemetery and that is Upper Alton Cemetery. You may want to try that.

RE: pictures of headstone
The inscription was as bad in the cemetery as it is in the picture. I made out just enough to get a name and a piece of a date here and there, but that's the best I can do.

I don't chalk, lather, or otherwise deface other people's tombstones for easy reading. My plate is full right now, but let me try this again in 2 weeks. I will get a young person with good eyes to go with me.

Now you send me a reminder with the cemetery name and the particular headstones that you want me to read, and I will try again. I would me amenable to the suggestion to try an aluminum foil rubbing.

William J Chamblee

The inscription on his stone reads:

Farewell my wife & children all.
From you a father Christ doth call:
Mourn not for me it is in vain,
To call me to your sight again.

Blessings in Christ,
