|Joel Shore||RE: Mary E. Swetland|
You're welcome. The answer to your question is that Norris Swetland is not buried anywhere close to there. According to the internment records (https://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00001193.pdf), he's in the SE 1/4 of Lot 390 of Range 1 (and his being in that general part of Range 1 is confirmed here: http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-range-1l-z.htm).
If you look on a map of the cemetery here http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mh-intro.htm, you can see that this is in the far southeast corner of the cemetery while Section M (where Mary Swetland is buried) is in the middle of the cemetery...and it's a large cemetery, covering almost 200 acres.
Of course, we've seen cases of family members far apart like this, so it doesn't really argue against your hypothesis...although clearly it does nothing to confirm it either.

I sent family link information for all of the Hall's on this monument along with burial plot to the memorial's creators. Besides Hannah and husband, Orin, there were 5 other family members at this plot:
Hannah Hall: #16256451
Orin Hall: #16291895
Orrin LeRoy Hall: #16291902
Lena Hall: #16256838
Orrin Hall: #16291898
Sarah A Hall: #16291912
Martha (Hall) Butler: #105335628
Hope this information helps.

You're welcome, I took a lot of photos today, that's how I can add them so quickly.
Now I see Mariah. The only person that can change names or add info to a memorial is the person that has ownership of the memorial. If you want any or all of the memorials I created for the Swetland family transferred to you, just let me know. That way you can add info at any time to their memorials.
|Ron Kinney||RE: Flossie Swetland|
You're very welcome, glad to help.
Yes, Flossie and her parents Horace & Clara are in M/1, the mausoleum. I have added the photo to their memorials also. I had to create a memorial for Horace.
Flossie drowned and was probably originally buried in M/184. After the mausoleum was built she was moved. Her father, Horace died in 1924 of bronchial pneumonia and her mother, Clara in 1936 of arteriosclerosis.
Horace's parents are Burnett & Augusta (Bates) Swetland and Clara's parents are David & Matilda (Stafford) Durmond
Sincerely, Ron Kinney

You're welcome. I'll try to get the others in Portland Evergreen the next time I go out that way.

I walked through the entire cemetery and couldn't find Mr. Taylor's headstone. Though small, it's still an active cemetery; there was a very recent burial there. I don't believe the Corinth Baptist Church is still active, there's a new sign out front that says "Connections Church." When searching for records for this cemetery, be aware that it sits very near the line between Fayette and Clayton counties. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

You didn't request it, but I also photographed Harry Quimby 1888-1889 and added it to his memorial.
