I am a 'farm girl' who grew up in Iowa. I still live in Iowa, just not on the farm!|
I found my great grandmother's headstone on Find a Grave quite by accident and have been hooked on this site ever since.
My hope is to leave a legacy on Find a Grave for my children, grandchildren, and others by adding data and links, not to amass large numbers of memorials. I enjoy helping others find relatives and friends, and I appreciate that others have helped me.
I create memorials with dignity and respect for those who have passed. I will remove a memorial if it is too sensitive for you, and I will remove photos you do not want on a memorial.
Forgive me for not yet having all burial locations identified. It takes time to research, some whereabouts are unknown, and some obituaries/mortuaries do not list burial or disposition details.
I do transfer memorials if you will information to add, unless it is for my relative.
I try to add information and family links, but research takes time, so some memorials I've created are not "done".
Please let me know if there is an error so it can be corrected. I want to have true and appropriate information.
I usually make edit requests In a timely manner.
I appreciate knowing about added posts to my memorials such as photos or obituary clippings that would help me link family members.
I am happy to share photos with you to use in your family albums. Feel free to contact me.

Within the exception of recent burials, I have taken gravestone photos of these entire cemeteries. Some stones are photographed, but are not readabke, so may not be matched with a memorial. All have been posted for:
Paton Cemetery - Paton, Iowa
Dawson Cemetery near Paton, Iowa
Antioch - Clarksville, Iowa
Lynwood - Clarksville, Iowa
Old Town - Clarksville, Iowa
Pleasant Valley - Clarksville, Iowa
Butler Center - Butler County, Iowa
St. Mary's Catholic - Greene, Iowa
I added many photos for McCallsburg Cemetery and Rose Hill Cemetery in Greene, Iowa. I will be taking more photos when possible.

Thank you, Marilyn, for all of your nice words. You are too kind. I sincerely hope you enjoy the remainder of your trip and make it back home safely. There's no place like home (so I've heard). lol
|Rich Kreiss||RE: My relatives|
I'm glad you enjoyed your trip back East. Pennsylvania is a large state and I don't know much about it myself though I live here. lol I'm a big fan of southeastern VA where my mom grew up. It is beautiful there in the mountains. I also enjoy NC a lot. Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself. Btw, what part of VA are you in now?
|JR||RE: Beauchamp photo|
I posted a cropped picture to Elizabeth's memorial as requested. I can also email you the original if you would like to have it.

I don't believe she's still living. She would be over 100 years old. Wonder where we could check ?
|Rich Kreiss||RE: Just 4 U|
Yes, I have a hunch why you are so sweet and charming to me. Enjoy the transfer!

It was truly amazing that we connected as much as we did and in such diverse places, it would have been easier to win the lottery than to have your generous actions happen so quickly in different states.... my gosh, who knew. Thank you again and thanks for posting this memorial photograph!
|Kaye||Thank You - Cynthia White|
Thank you for the photos of Cynthia White's gravestone in Rosehill Cemetery in Greene, Iowa. She is my 3rd great grandmother. It's great to be able to read the words. When I started this journey I wasn't even sure I could find where she moved to from Pennsylvania and now I can see her stone! Thank you!

There are four Crouse's buried at Mountview across the street from Sunset. Their names are Charles, Ella, Emma, and Sheridan, don't know if any of these are the ones you are looking for but let me know. Also checked with Sunset and they haven't got back to me yet, will let you know if they have any. Take Care
|Barbara Farlow||Mary Daiker|
Thank you for adding the photos of my Aunt Mary's grave marker. She is my mother's youngest sister and the last of the 9 children to pass away. I would never have been able to go to Iowa to take one and that's why I love Find a Grave because everyone helps each other and makes our work more complete. I am sure by photographing these many cemeteries you have brought joy to many. Every day is like a gift and I got one today. I appreciate your time and dedication.

I think you are right, however if you do have time it would be great to see if the City of Greene has more information.
