Thanks for the reply!
Yes, I too saw Eliza Fletcher listed in the 1930 census.
Your information has been most helpful but I have hit a brick wall with Jesse M Thompson's parents. I haven't found a 1900 census entry for him, before he and Fannie Huffman were married in 1903. I did find a Jesse Thompson in the 1880 census with the correct birth year, living with an Ira Thompson but have not been able to tie them together after that.

Thanks so much for the info on James W Huffman and family. It has been a long search, starting with just a couple of names and events passed down from my dad and grandmother. It is a long story but my father, C Dale Bowman, b 20 Apr 1931, adopted by Clarence A. and Edith Bowman in Kansas City about 1932, is the youngest birth son of Frances Lela Thompson and Earl Francis Slusher. Frances was the daughter of Jesse M Thompson and Fannie M Huffman. And as you know Fannie is descended from James W and Jeremiah Huffman. I'm always looking for more information. Regards, Dick Bowman

I think so, I need to go back and look again.
Losing my research is one of my biggest fears, so I'm putting it all in three different places plus a print addiction. I'm glad to have Ancestry.

No hurry. I know exactly what you mean, I have the same problem. Whenever it works out for you is fine with me.

Okay, I look for you there too...

That would be great. Are you on Ancestry. com too?

It looks like we are related. David and Anna are also my great-great-great-grandparents and I would love to exchange family information.
Do you have more about this family?
|helen Bedder ||Edna Fletcher|
My grandmother and yours were sisters. My gma talked about Gladys frequently. I wish I had an interest in the family history years ago so that I might have gotten more information. I don't even have the family photos. They were lost after my mother died.
If you would be willing to share, I would love any information on the family and any photos. I saw the photo of Leonard and William Sherman you have posted on the find a grave site. I had not seen those photos before.
Hope you will share.

No I am sorry I don't have access to the records. Sorry couldn't help you.
|DeLoris Hall-Butterfield||BUSCH FAMILY|
My name is DeLoris (vonOlnhausen) Butterfield. Your great aunt & uncle Hilton were my half brother's aunt and uncle via marriage by Lydia's brother David Busch to our mother Elsie vonOlnhausen-Smith of Ritzville WA. David had two children with Elsie, Richard & Lydia Busch. Both were adopted out after David's death in 1960. My brother was only 5 when his father died. I am doing a family search/history and found his aunt Lydia's gravesite and thought I would touch base with you to see if you can give me any insight to the Busch family history/tree. I think I found Jacob's grave (Lydia's father) in the Sultan Cemetery, but I cannot locate anything on Helene (Lydis's mother) My brother had the opportunity to meet his aunt Lydia before she died and she provided him with a few pictures of his dad as well as a picture of Lydia and her two other brothers Samual & Daniel. Would very much like to hear back from you. God's blessing to you and your family. Dee (firstname.lastname@example.org)
