Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an east Tennessee native and am researching all branches of my immediate family. Being a full-time real estate professional, I frequently am behind the wheel of my vehicle and my schedule is flexible enough to help others find/photograph grave markers for family members in the greater Knoxville area.

My interests are:
~ Crosley Brinkley, my 4th-great grandfather from Stokes, NC (1775-1841)
~ Caswell Rains, my 2nd-great grandfather from Campbell County, TN (1838-1910+)
~ Howard Franklin Lasley, my great-grandfather from NC/TN (1826-1890+)
~ Jesse Francis "Frank" Wheatley, my great-grandfather from Grayson County, VA (1856-1942)

Louisa Springer Howard
Thank you so much for taking the photo of Louisa's headstone. I guess her father A. J. Jackson Springer must be buried in an unmarked grave. I really appreciate you assistance. Have a great Memorial Day.

Thank you for searching for this grave. I appreciate the effort. It is good to know that it could be one of the unreadable markers.

RE: James Wheeler
Hi Anne,

Thank you so much for finding Phebe and Preston Wheeler and looking for James and Caswell! I rechecked James and Casswell's death certificates and they stated that James was buried at Hickory Creek on 15 Aug 1948 and Casswell was buried on 14 Nov 1929.

Here is a link to James' death certificate:

and Casswell's death certiicate:

Thanks again!

Hedrick Gravestone
Anne,

If the date is correct then it must have been a very cold day to be photographing Braxton Hedrick's grave site. I appreciate it.

I don't see any overlap in your east Tennessee genealogy with my wife's Monroe county Jones/Presley roots but you never know.

Thanks again.
