I am willing to help as much as I possibly can. If I take a photo it is to be shared. |
Like anyone I can and do make mistakes, so please let me know so I can correct them. I will not be offended.
I am currently working on the Virginia Point Cemetery in Fannin County, Texas. I have a personal "family tree" file of the Virginia Point and Bell-Youree (AKA Old Virginia Point) Cemeteries. I am taking my time putting them on Find-A-Grave. Sometimes I have information to give them that they don't because I may have actually known the person or heard the story. I've gone to Virginia Point Church since 1971. I have found that some of my distant relatives are related to the people here.
If you are not familiar with this area the Cemetery is North of the towns of Bells on Hebron Road (Grayson County) and Savoy on County Road 1200 (Fannin County). This is the same road!

Thank you for your reply. Maybe someday someone from this Anderson family will be able to fill in the blanks.

Hello. I am researching an Anderson family that was from Arkansas and had at least one family member who died in Fannin Co., TX. I was interested in the Unknown Anderson that was from ARK. and is buried in an unmarked grave in the Virginia Point Cemetery, in Fannin Co., TX. Do you have any information on the one killed while digging a well or the brother who rode the train to the funeral?

Kim, thank you so much for the information! I hope to be able to (eventually) see that part of the country in person.
Hello, keep checking back also for more I have about 700 more people to add in case you have more relatives in there, thank you for adding your relatives!

Glad that I could do this. I was just taking random photos of grave markers located close to the grave of my late wife Elaine. Pure chance that I photographed the Collins maker. I do this rather often, just photograph a stone, then add the photo to an existing memorial or write a memorial based on the information found on the stone.
Thank you for contacting me about photo, also for the Linked In notice. Please let me know if there are other photos in this area that you might wish to have taken.

May I ask why did you put a headstone photo on this memorial when there is a photo already on there? Jim Bradley is my brother-in-law
your welcome! I still have about 500 people to add to the cemetery

I just ran across some of your great photos at the family cemetery. Thank you so much. They are wonderful! Thanks for all you do for all of us.

Very happy to have provided these photos for you, Kim. I attempted to provide a link for this husband and wife, but I se that someone had already submitted this information. I assumed this was you? I intend to begin providing these links with new photos whenever possible. It takes a bit of time, but is very rewarding when it can be done.
