Born March 8, 1954 in Modesto, California. Grew up in Sacramento and El Dorado Hills, California. Graduated from Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs in 1971 and Brigham Young University in 1975. Adult life in Gaffney, South Carolina except for 4 years in Birmingham, Alabama. |
I volunteer at the Family History Center for our church and assist in indexing funeral home records, photographing graveyards, etc.
I work with the cub scouts at our church, enjoy hiking, camping, gardening, sewing, crocheting, painting as well as genealogy.
I would be happy to transfer memorials for those I am not related to or to transfer to closer relatives. Please let me know how you are related and either use the edit tab at the right hand corner or include findagrave in the subject line so that it is less likely to get lost in my deluge of emails. If you don't hear back in a reasonable time, don't hesitate to try again as things sometimes "disappear" in my inbox.

Dear Rebecca, I have made a number of edits to memorials that you manage. Please go into your contributor tools, the "edit" tab, and accept the edits. I have access to a document that has preserved the transcriptions from the stones that were read between 1900 and 1950 that is kept by the church. Thanks for your help! Bonnie

Hello! I have claimed your photo request for Elizabeth & Theodore. I am making a trip to visit some of my family in section 112 at Spring Grove and will be happy to help a fellow member out for the first time!

Okay I added it.

I just linked Hannah Ellen Reed Gossett to James David Gossett (#89042600). I noticed that you had a note related to her, the 1 of 4 wives not linked to his memorial.
|Jim & Judy Harlan||Rev William L. Gibbs|
Sorry but this burial is unmarked. City records show that his grave is unmarked. Also a Laura Gibbs (Memorial# 131948671) is buried next to him. My wife and I both searched the entire block and confirmed that no marker was present for either William or Laura. There is a picture on William's memorial showing the plot where he is buried, a small rectangle indicates the exact plot on the photo.

Thank you and glad you enjoyed the photos. I added the photo to Christoper Morgan but there is no memorial for William Benson. I don't add memorials because I just don't have the time. As my bio says I just do photo requests. I'll apologize in advance, but it took me a very long time just to add Christopher Morgans photo. I am just not set up to do so. Thank you for the kind words.

No, I don't know if Samuel is buried there. It's a very old cemetery and many stones are illegible or missing. I tried to photograph every stone in the cemetery, so if he's there, there's either no stone or can't be read.
