RE: John Coffee Cemetery-Overton County
I'll hang in there then - good luck with your move.

RE: John Coffee Cemetery-Overton County
It's amazing you found this old cemetery! As to A Coffee, I'm somewhat surprised I missed his marker when I was at John Coffee Cemetery. I'll have to check back after you post the memorial for him, and for the new cemetery. Thanks for the information - I do hope you put some of this great biographical info on their memorials.
As an aside, if the members of the Coffee family buried at John Coffee are direct relatives, I'd be more than happy to transfer care of the memorials to you. Just send me a request (with your Find A Grave#) through the edit function of each memorial and I'll do the transfers immediately.
Thanks again, Connie!

RE: John Coffee Cemetery-Overton County
Forgot to add that no, I'm no relation to the Coffee family. I've also corrected the entry for Arissa.

RE: John Coffee Cemetery-Overton County
It's terrific that you've found their actual burial place. The information that they were buried at John Coffee Cemetery came from Gary Norris' book on Overton County Cemeteries.
I've deleted the two memorials for Richard & Martha and eagerly await the creation of their correct memorials.
Can you tell me where this cemetery is located and what it was called? I'm trying to locate as many Overton cemeteries as possible and would like to add the info on this "new" cemetery to my database. Thanks for the correcting information.

RE: Binom Bilbrey Cemetery
The cemetery is located on the old Bilbrey Station Farm. Bobby Cunningham's widow owns the farm now. From Brotherton go past Shady Grove Church about 1/4 mile. You will see a farm gate going into a hay field with a large pond. There is a trailer across the road. You can park at the gate. There is a pass through so people can go to the pond to fish. Walk straight about 3/4 mile. Cross one field, then the next field had a deer stand in the middle of it. Cross it and there will be and old road to the right. The cemetery is fenced. The last time were there we saw a wild hog so be careful. On weekends we were told hunters from Nashville had the farm leased for hunting. If you go pass the farm gate the next driveway leads to the farm house. If the gate is open you can drive up to the cabin. Then you just have to cross one field. W C Bilbrey was my gggrandfather. My mother was Audrey B Tallent Benson , her mother was Cora Delana Bilbrey Tallent, her father was Dawson Jackson Bilbrey and his father was William C Bilbrey 1821-1888. The cemetery is all family members.
Are you related to the family? If so how?
