Hello, I live in the Southeast. I have a lot of genealogical information about my family due to my husband's being an avid genealogist for at least 20 years and to inheriting lots of family data and pictures. I started to get serious about it around 2009. I hope to pass it on to my two children, three grandchildren, and also to my sister's three children and their children, because my sister died in 2005. I have Messenger, Thompson, and Haynes lines in the U.S. and Taylor and Forbes lines in the British Isles.|

|Donald Galloway||Margaret Maria Taylor|
Dear Ms. Taylor, 01.11.15
I believe that Margaret Maria Taylor (nee Galloway), the second wife of Henry Taylor (1866 – 1958) (findagrave #26320574), was one of my grandfather’s younger siblings.
From correspondence with the families of two of her siblings who also emigrated to the Vancouver/Seattle area I also believe that Maria had two sons called Samuel and Frank Taylor.
If possible, I would be interested in the mutual exchange of information concerning Margaret.
I could provide details of her family tree, including Galloway relatives back to the early 19th Century.

I have lots of Prettymans in my family tree. I have traced them back to John Pratyman in 1322. My favorite Prettyman is Prettyman Day. There are several Prettyman Days in my lines. Lol. Although Day is my last name, my maiden name is Clark. My Prettyman line comes down through Mary Prettyman (1678-1741) who married William Day (1672-1741). Their son was Prettyman Day. I've told my husband I am sure we are related through Prettyman Day. Lol. I also have other Prettymans that are tied into this same line. Several generations later Sarah E Prettyman married Alfred Virden Wilson. They were my 3rd great-grandparents. Turia Clark Day

Hi, I noticed you referred to Samuel Taylor 26254505 as a relative. I am tracking my Taylor kin and was hoping you can help with a question. As you noticed on Samuel Taylor's Memorial his son Henry Taylor 26320574 is linked. Henry's death info has parents Samuel Taylor 26254505 & Mary Seager - and his wife as Margaret Maria Galloway . He is also buried with Reginald Henry Taylor whose parents on the death certificate are Henry Taylor & Rhoda Tapp - his wife Edith Runhan.
My question is do you know if Henry was married to both women? I would appreciate any help in linking the Taylors in this cemetery.
Thank you, Jackie

Hello...Thank you for leaving the note on her memorial -- it makes it so much easier for those of us not closely related. However, I am bit confused by the obit/bio on
her husband's memorial which lists her parents as James & Sarah Prettyman. Wasn't James her brother??? As you had noted, I too have her listed as one of Joseph & Nancy (Walker) Prettyman's children, but now I'm questioning my own research. So, before I go on to something else, I thought I'd clear up the discrepancy by simply asking for your input. :)
