Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love to take pictures so I thought this will be a good way for me to get out and walk more. The first cemetary I visited was a small church cemetary and all the graves were very old and I was hooked. :)
I am a 61 year old retired teacher and have a grandson and a granddaughter who are the light of my life.

RE: leaving pictures
How do I go about doing that? I feel so strange because I am so new at this. I just know I really appreciate it when I find a headstone giving the same information I have in my genealogy. I guess I am just to close to this, but I felt so bad when the man got upset with me. I was sent a request for the picture and thought why waste time got more headstone pictures. I just did not realize it would get someone so angry with me. I think I will just use findagrave for my genealogy and just not get involved with the rest. Thank you again for writing me back. Have a blessed day.

Thanks Beth I will set my alarm. A man is not always as helpful as a woman is. I will try though. Val

Need help
Beth where is the cemetery office for Hickory Grove Cemetery and if you have it the phone number. I cannot get around as well as I used to because of a damaged knee. It would help a great deal to know approximately where I am searching rather then walk by each stone. I live in Petal MS and like to make my trips count with the way gas is. I went to the cemetery this afternoon, but did not have any luck finding the stone.Thank you
