Thought you might like to know that I photographed Charlotte and Otto's stone at Mount Moriah. The photo has been added to your memorials.

RE: Alice Higgs Photo in Saint Matthews
I uploaded the photo again! Not sure why it was upside down the first time, but it is ok now! I visited the cemetery on a whim to see my Shomo Ancestors and tried to find graves that requested a picture. This was the only grave I could find in the amount of time I had. I'm glad it helped you! The cemetery was lovely!

I changed the name of her father and added your updates. Do her parents have sites?

The dates on his memorial match the dates on his cemetery marker. There is a photo on his memorial.

Thanks for contacting me regarding my posting Isaac's memorial at Kensett Cemetery as opposed to Old Kensett. Since I do not live anywhere near and have not walked the cemetery I have to rely on information from others. It appears from what you have found is that my posting is in the wrong cemetery. I hate to delete my posting because I do have more information and photos on my page. This person is a distant relative & does not fall within Find A Grave guidlines to ask for a transfer. I think I will leave my posting up for a bit and contact the owner of the other posting to see if he will either add all the information I have or transfer it over to me. Thanks for contacting me!

Old Kensett Cemetery
Kensett, Arkansas

List updated June 20, 2004
Legal description: SE, NW, SE, Sect.17, T7N, R6N
Earliest listed grave: 1856
Last listed grave: 1985
Arkansas Archeological Survey site #: 3WH0730
This cemetery is located at the intersection of S.E. 4th and Luttrell streets in the city of Kensett. It is to the left of Kensett Cemetery, just inside the entrance. It was surveyed in April 2000 by volunteer Gerald Torrence for the White County Historical Society. Exactly one year earlier, Charles A. Yaerger, Kensett Chief of Police, had also prepared a listing of Old Kensett Cemetery. The information on the two surveys was compared, adjusted and combined to provide the original list. Leroy Blair, a Historical Society member, added eight names to the list after visiting the cemetery August 10, 2000. Chief Yaerger called the cemetery "well kept," and noted "several markers that are broken and weathered

unless restored will soon cease to exist," which is one reason for his survey.
(If you have corrections or additions to this list, or additional information on Old Kensett Cemetery, please contact the White County Historical Society, P.O. Box 537, Searcy, AR 72145.)

Thank you so very much for the photos of the Watkins and Venable grave stones. I appreciate so much those of you who take photos for ones who cannot travel to the cemeteries. This was a wonderful surprise. Susan
