Originally from Minnesota I now live in Oregon. I belong to Native Americans United, My native name is A-ma A-da-nv-do which means SpiritWater. I have been doing the geneology for my family tree for about five years or so now. The main four branches are JACKSON, Murray, McKnight, and Wood. the tree includes many names some of them are Neal, Bohanon, Jones, Owen, Gorham, Huffman, Bradford, Jeppson, Benjamin, Olson, Steiner, Regli,Malone, Mullins, Gardner, Parker, Decker, Baldwin, Eckman, Cappis, Surbeck, and Muehleisen to name a few. I'm glad to be able to take photos and add any additional information that I am able to for each request. In the fall, Winter, and spring months please be patient for photo requests, in Oregon we average 48 inchs of rain in a year and these months are usually very wet.NOTE; SINCE I HAVE RUN INTO PEOPLE SO WORRIED ABOUT THIER "COPYRIGHT" ON PHOTOS THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN - - ALL PHOTOS I TAKE AND SUBMIT MAY BE USED BY THE REQUESTING PERSON - THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS IF THE REQUESTER WILL NOT LET ANYONE USE PHOTOS THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN, THEN THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE OR REPRODUCE THESE PHOTOS. SORRY,, I DON'T UNDERSTAND EXCEPT THAT MAYBE THESE PEOPLE FEEL EMPOWERED BY NOT FREELY GIVING THE USE OF THIER PHOTOS, AND FEEL THE NEED TO THINK THEY CONTROL SOMETHING... WE'RE ALL IN THE SEARCH FOR HISTORY AND ANCESTORS...|

I also would like to thank you for the extra effort you put into Calvin Joseph Smith's memorial. He was the son of my GGgrandfather. I have been searching for the children of Truman Comstock Smith and each is but one of the children. Now to find his wife, Mary. Thank you again. Linda

Thank you Ray. I appreciate the extra effort verifying with the cemetery that there is no headstone. My husband and I are researching the final 'resting place' for the men of the 38th Iowa Volunteer Infantry, of which Calvin was a member, along with my husband's GGGrandfather.
Thank you so much for you time in effort. I really appreciate the obituary.
