Did you look at the Texas data? So far There is a lot of data on the Pike County Walkers from the Walkers bible records from Pike County, and from old family reunion gatherings. Are your Gates in Mississippi Or Ga or Tn or Illinois? there are several Wm Gates .. some of the trees by Pike Cty Gates/Walkers are not well documented and have diff lines mixed up ... the one with the most "good " stuff is by stonemou ... the Wm Gates can be seen to be diff people by looking at the 1820-1830 census data .. the one in the original settlers of Austin Tx and the one in Franklin Cty Ga are the most often mixed together. On the Walkers /gates marriage . . I had not done much on My husbands Walker ggrandmother until we started getting Walker hits on the DNA and I am still in early stages; but do beleive the Texas Bio and that the texas Sarah Gates married Abner Kuykendall.
