|Diana||RE: Chapman family Kingsville, MD|
Good Morning, Sylvia!
Thank you for taking the time to write regarding the Chapman Family. No relation, just wanted to leave memorial flowers in their memory.
Wishing you the best in your research of the Chapman family.

Hi Sylvia, Lots of roots in Union County and several tiess to the Cook(e)'s via McBee, Miller, Burnett, etc. Feel free to email me at email@example.com
|Mary Kirtland||RE: Wealthy Kirtland|
I can't find an exact match in my records that are on this computer/entered on Ancestry. A number of (related) Kirtland families moved from Saybrook to Greene County in the 1780s/90s, and there is a Wealthy Kirtland, daughter of William, who was baptized 23 Aug 1767 at the 1st Congregational Church, Saybrook - but I have not got anything at hand that will connect these two to the people I know about in Greene County.
I will save your message & if I happen to find something, I will try to let you know.

According to the Pres. church records online for Greene County, I think it only says that Daniel's wife died, no dates. Everyone has that date listed and place. If Mary Kirtland has that date & place, she must have found something in her research to prove it, but don't know. She seems to be strict in what she accepts. Lovisa's death was one of the few that I did not find and couldn't come up with anything. The woman who took the picture of Daniel's tombstone told me she didn't take a picture or try to look at the engraving on that stone next to his, but would look if she went there again. I haven't heard from her again. She said I should contact the town of Durham who might have cemetery records, but I never did. Jane

She died July 15, 1841 in Barre, Orleans County, NY and is buried there at the Mount Albion Cemetery. There is a link from his memorial in Green County, NY to hers. I don't know if I put her memorial in the right cemetery.

Sylvia, If you find a portrait of him, please put on my memorial of him at the old Brown Cemetery. If you go to that cemetery, I am wondering whose stone that is to the left of his tombstone. It looks like it fell straight down into the ground when the soil may have been soft from rain. If you click on his tombstone and enlarge it, it looks like engraving at the ground level of the other tombstone. Mary probably has much more on his family than I have given on findagrave. Sylvia, Mary Kirtland has the above tree on ancestry. She is probably an expert on the Kirtlands in America. She has a hugh collection of documents on them. She also has the same line as mine. The best way to contact her might be through findagrave. Go to: findagrave.com, Richland County, Ohio, Greenlawn Cemetery, James K. Kirtland (her ancestor linked to my Kirtlands on findagrave). Just click on the edit button.
