RE: regarding Find A Grave Memorial# 93313584 Mathew Lewis
HI. I believe that the death date I had was in error. According to his Headstones provided index card, he died 5 Feb 1882. I don't know where the 1905 date came from but I do recall a format issue with dates on my computer that made a lot of 1905 dates that were incorrect. His CW pension says his widow, Elizabeth, received a pension in 1889. I will add those two things to his Memorial. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Is this in keeping with the info you have?

Strissel Memorial
Your welcome, but I don't see it as work. Some people golf, ski, snowmobile, garden, . .my hobby just happens to be dead people. I love family history.
Once we (me & historical society) get back in there, we really need the farmer's help. That one tremendously large stone is not something humans can lift. A tractor and loader are needed.
I will keep you updated.

RE: Friedrich Strissel Memorial
Sorry that I didn't remember corresponding with you earlier, but you jogged my memory and now do indeed remember. Marlene & I have been working together as of this last fall. She, I and one other person from the historical society had planned on going to the cem., but there was a death in the family of the people who own the surrounding property & all could not be connected in time, prior to getting to cold out.
We need the farmers help to upright the stone, and maybe help clean up the entire cem. My friend, who is a daughter of property owner has heard that there are a lot more graves there then I have found. I will contact Marlene again once it gets warmer out.

Friedrich Strissel Memorial
I've just gotten a response from Find A Grave alerting me that you have recently sponsored Friedrich's memorial. Thank-You for that.
Now, are you related to him? The little cemetery is one of my pet projects, or one that I am REALLY interested in. I'd like to know if there are family members out there who might know why these people are buried in a family plot when the church they attended is only about two miles down the road.

Date error
Oops..Thanks for the heads up. Usually if you make an error of 800 years, find a grave prevents your dates from being entered. Sometimes it slips through and you have to make a correction. Thank you.

I thank you so much for getting these photos. I live in Indiana and I know I would never be able to visit Washington. So again I thank you. Utahbba King.

RE: James Powell photos
Hi, Yeah, I have already been there and saw the headstone. It needs to be cleaned a bit; so I 'm going back to do that this week. Did you go to the office and ask for help in finding your requests? They will tell you exactly where they are located in the cemetery. Thank you for leaving me a message. Goodluck!
