RE: father of Frank Loring
I am researching the immigrant Frederick Loring from France. He had a a son Frances, sometimes called Frank. They lived first in Paris, Bourbon Co., KY, and some are buried in Bridgeton, MO at FeeFee Cemetery.

RE: father of Frank Loring
James Milton Loring wrote a genealogy of the Loring Family entitled "My Family Record" which is now scanned on familysearch.com.

I have been researching the Loring family in St. Louis, descendants of the Frenchman Frederick Loring, many of whom are buried in FEEFEE Cemetery in Bridgeton, west of St. Louis. In St. Louis, there are death records on line, but I have not connected Frank. Perhaps if you check City Directories at the libraries, it would yield an answer.

RE: Loring
Donald is the only Loring I had created a memorial for. His grandparents are buried in Rainier in Green Mountain Cemetery and also have memorials on Find a Grave. If obituaries for them would be helpful, look at the Rainier Review newspaper archives online at http://www.cityofrainier.com/?view=rainier_review . It will be the 11-13-1936 newspaper for Marion, and the 11-29-1956 newspaper for his wife. Obituaries are always found on the first page. These three Lorings are the only ones buried in Columbia County to my knowledge. All of the cemeteries here have been completely transcribed and photographed for Find a Grave.

RE: Decendants of Donald
No, I didn't know the Lorings personally, I just enjoy photographing headstones and finding obituaries. I'm glad I could be of help in your family history research.
Thanks,
Jan B.

RE: Decendants of Donald
I've located an obituary for Donald Loring and have posted it to the memorial. If you would like this memorial transferred to you since you're related, let me know.
Thanks,
Jan B.
