 | John K. Stark monument
A email was sent to me yesterday requesting additional photos of this monument in the Del Smith cemetery.
I tried to claim it but it wasn't listed on the cemetery request site. I'm a new volunteer so maybe I'm not seeing it.
I went to the monument and took photos and wrote the following information taken off of the monument:
John K. Stark died June 3, 1881
Age: 69 years 1 month 8 days
R. Newton
son of J.K. & A Stark died June 8, 1874
Age: 26 years 11 months 25 days
Margaret J. Stark
daughter of J.K. & A. Stark died March 31, 1884
Age: 47 years 10 months 10 days
Adaline
wife of J.K. Stark
October 24, 1814
January 15, 1898
Smaller inscriptions where for :
Rozina Eugene
Oct 18?? August 16 185?
The above dates are difficult to read but the names are well inscribed.

Hi, you can not really read them, but in my records I have Charles F.. son of John & Charity Starks, 8-5-1850- 10-2-1852, and John P. son of John & Charity, 5-22-1849-- 7-26-1850, the Catherine Stark's stone also has on it wife of John Starks ,senior, hope this helps a little, the small children's stones are in pieces now, Russell | | | Sharon Leque

Hi Sherry...so good to hear from you. I often wonder where all my relatives on my grandfather's side are? My grandfather was Adolph Schreiber; a son of Marie & Gustave. Both my grandfather, grandmother (Emma) and Marie are buried in the city I live in. I live in Ferndale WA in the Pacific Northwest; about 15 miles from the Canadian Boarder; under British Columbia. No, I'm not related to the Schreibers. I just live down the road from this cemetery, so I visit it often and take photos when I can. | | |
