 | RE: Charles Family Photos We were happy to. We think there may have been some more "Charles" headstones as well. It started storming and we had to leave. We will be going back to find some for other people and will take pictures of any others as well. Good luck with your research, If any of the info is not legible in the pictures, let me know and we can look on the headstones the next time we are near there. | | | David Cochran
 | RE: Lenora and Arthur Charles The cemetery information probably is accurate in that they are probably buried there. However, there does not appear to be a stone for either of them. This is a well kept and well documented cemetery. | | | Bruce Stewart
 | RE: Thomas Charles Memorial #84877582 Hi Pat,
I got all your messages. You have David and Anna Roberts Charles. Her name on the tombstone is Ann. The name I have from the McHenry Co. History is Mary Ann. I gave you the reference for it in my message.
You did not answer my question: "Who is your husbands Grandfather/Father?" In other words is he a descendant of wife 1 or 2? I have some of both the wives children and descendants.
Thank you for the information. I would like to add the headstone photo to my cemetery program if this is OK with you.

 | RE: Thomas Charles Memorial #84877582 Hi Pat,
Will Transfer. First wife, Mary Stewart, gave birth to three children. Sarah had a twin that died at three months.
Which is your husbands line? I have most of the family even Thomas's father, David and wife's given name, but not surname from the History of McHenry County Illinois, Munsell Pub. Co., Chicago, Ill., Vol. II, page 914, 1922.

 | RE: Memorial # 77257800 Hi Pat, I don't care about the regulations. The memorials should belong to someone who is related. I'm always happy when I find one of my relatives and so am happy you found your husband's. By the way, there is a 5th grave there, but it is almost completely worn smooth and in the 1990's index, it just says unreadable grave. It's between Angeline and Artie. I had no crayons and paper today and couldn't read any of it, but I'll try and get out there again. Mary | | | Jim and Mary
 | RE: Memorial # 77257800 Hi Pat, Thanks for the info. I went and took photos today and there is no first name for the child, but the dates match Artie so have updated the memorial. Would you like to manage them? I'm not related and will gladly transfer them if you'd like them. Mary | | | Karen Griswold Stroh
 | RE: Memorial # 72166151 Pat, Sorry for the error.
If you want transfer of Family members go to that memorial-upper right hand corner hit edit and ask for the transfer with your number. Since they are twins, thier should be another memorial made up. Blessings Karen | | | Jack Chillcott
