Walter Hendrickson

I noticed that you put an article about Walter Hendrickson in his memorial from a Breckenridge newspaper. I have an article from the Greeley Tribune about his accident in my family tree. He was married to my gr-gr-Aunt Ella Bethany Doughty. She is buried at Hillside Cemetery as Ella Eagleton and Ella Daughtry which is her maiden name misspelled. If you could link them together, I would appreciate it.

Hi you put up a brief obituary for Zach at his memorial. Do you know where he died? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I can be reached at

Happy Holidays!

Augusta Heffley (Crown Hill Cemetery)
Hello Mellanee,

Sorry for the very late reply on your request. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis.

You sent me the below e-mail:

“Is the date of death on the headstone 1915? I have a Mrs. Augusta A. Heffley, 46 who died in October 1915 when she was run over by an automobile in Denver. I would like to post the newspaper clipping but want to make sure that his is the correct Augusta.”

The year that Augusta passed away is 1955 according to her headstone. I have posted a photo of her headstone to her memorial. She is laid to rest with her husband, Henry.

Sorry this isn’t the Augusta you were looking for. Hopefully you will be able to find her.

RE: Roland/Rollan Hesson
I wrote to Karl Kleen and asked for a temporary transfer so I could put my info on his memorial and then transfer it back to him. He told me to keep it as he just took the photo while walking through the cemetery.

I really don't know the circumstances surrounding what happened to Rollan. With a 1930 death, I'm a little surprised they had his body shipped back to St. Louis rather than burying it in Nebraska.

I'm glad the memorial has been corrected and is all in one place now. Maybe we'll find out the cause of death some day and be able to add that to the memorial.

Roland/Rollan Hesson
Hi Mellanee,

I have contacted the man who created the first memorial. According to his picture of the stone, we had Rollan's given name misspelled in our family tree book. For that reason, I didn't see the other memorial when I created mine.

I've offered to transfer all the information on my memorial to the one created by Karl Kleen. Hopefully, we'll get things worked out between the two of us sometime this week.

joshua montgomery
i have photographed all tombstones in the old part of richwoods and there is no tombstone with the name of joshua montgomery there. both richwoods and are west of corning, not south. however, richwoods is not between heelstring and datto, but nelson is. nelson is just east of reyno.

i have listed all known graves for nelson and he is not among them, but i believe he is buried there based on your description. no tombstone, however.

RE: Thank you for the pictures
You are quite welcome. If I find there are same surname in surrounding area, I try to get pics of all of them, because you never know if they are all related. I had another one like that very recently. They discovered their great grandfather in the same burial site. Have a happy new year
