Sorry that it couldn't be a better shot. The headstone was wrapped by a rose bush, and I didn't want to do any "pruning" without permission.

I am scheduled to take a trip to Tuskegee the first week in June. I will stop by the cemetery and fulfill the request.
Is there a relationship between the Dock Henry line and the Wes Henry Line? Wes was born 1896 in Alabama. His father Ben was born 1872 in Alabama and Ben's father Jeff(erson) Henry was born 1842 in Georgia.
|darafamily||Annie Fortson, Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bullock County|
I am Dara Tolbert Brooks. I am also documenting graves in Bullock County. I was reviewing LDS microfilm #1536093 on 8/23/2013 when I located Annie Fortson in the Records of Death 6-0004 register #4. It said she was 55 years old at the time of her death and a farmer. It lists her father as Dock Henry also born in Bullock County. Cause of death was chronic nephitis. The attending physician was S. C. Cowan of Union Springs. The undertaker was Peoples. She was buried 8/28 at Mt. Zion. You may wish to add this information to the notes for the person who is doing family research. I can be reached at email@example.com should you wish to discuss.
I read your message on Big E's page. You mentioned Tharpe cemetery. I have taken pictures of about half of that cemetery headstones. If you are interested and have names, I can check and see If I have pictures and go ahead and post them. I'm posting them as I have time, but as soon as school starts and I go back to work I won't have as much time. I hope to go back soon to get the rest of the cemetery and get the rest of the headstones and post them. Did you get any history on this cemetery? Please pass it on if you did. It is now behind a subdivision, but I know it had to be near a family home or church originally. Thanks for any information you can give and let me know if I can help you.

If you would, could you add some info and photos to the memorials of your family in Thorpe(Tharpe)? Also, I see that Mr Eugene Jackson married into your family. I knew "Mr Geneie"! He lived two houses down from my Grandmother in Warner Robins and was killed in that house. I'll be adding him shortly.
