Thank you the photos did help some. My mom says that he has what she calls the Jackson jaw. My mother is the Granddaughter of Boyd and Mary Elizabeth (Graham) Jackson. From info I have found Boyd is the younger brother of Raymond Jackson, not 100% sure tho. I don't know Lester Jackson nor does my mom. Hi Diane and let me also welcome you to Find A Grave..let me know if you'ld like me to transfer the other Hegwoods in Gillette Cemetery. I have had a wonderful time adding their memorials and a great photo contributor, Herb Lance, has photographed every marker there and has been researching them as well. I believe you've already been in contact with him since I see he transferred the Parrishes in Palmetto Cemetery to you. The Councils (from Wakulla County) have some distant connections to my husband's family. I connected Sallie to her husband before transferring and browsed thru some of your memorials, you've added some wonderful pics to your memorials. Thanks so much for the photo of the young Cecelia McAdon Gallier. Any chance you live in the Beaumont, TX area? My cousin who knew Cecelia as "Granny" and absolutely adored her and Uncle Lawrence would just love to meet you.

Thank you so much for the very kind personal message regarding your grandfather. Though I do not reside in beautiful South Carolina, did leave a memorial token in Private James Monroe Hegwood's memory. Hope this is the grandfather you are speaking of, Diane.
The person who added the memorial was created by Hope. Her name is listed on Private Hegwood's memorial (on the bottom left of the memorial).
