RE: Nancy McConkey Moore
Hi, Jim - apologies for the delayed reply. I've been trying to retrieve the reference used for that notation, but haven't been able to re-find it, sorry. It _probably_ came from my 2006 (first) edition of the 2-volume book published by the Bradford West Gwillimbury Local History Society, entitled "Governor Simcoe Slept Here: The Legacy of West Gwillimbury". That's the resource I used for the majority of entries when I was photo-documenting the cemeteries I undertook in West Gwillimbury. However, the BWGLHS members drew heavily on the wonderful Local History Archives held by the Bradford Public Library, so you might contact the library. They have an entire large room devoted to local history and documents, and their staff are quite passionate about the genealogy of the area.

By the way, McConkey in Simcoe County was often also spelled "Maconchy", as you'll see from my memorial for Nancy {Maconchy} Wilson (1802-1887), whose daughter Anna Wilson (1840-1923) married my 2nd great-granduncle, Frank Mills (1841-1916) of Dunkerron (West Gwill. Twp, Simcoe Co [a village south-west of Bradford]) and Toronto, Ontario.

Best wishes with your research =])

RE: Helen Gormley Haddock
Hi Jim,
I have taken the liberty to transfer the Haddock memorial to you because of your relationship to the deceased. Take care, rnm (bob)
